2010 U12 Westend Concrete Alliance Cup

I am proud to announce that the Westend Concrete Alliance Cup is on again for 2010 after the great success we had in its inaugural year.

The Westend Concrete Alliance Cup will be held on the weekend of 13 & 14 March 2010 at Grindleford Reserve, Grindleford Road, Balcatta (home ground of Balcatta Soccer Club)

1st Team Players Wanted!!!

Balcatta Soccer Club is looking for for the following players to complete what are  expected to be formidable U12 and U13 Academy Squads for the 2010 season.

U12s  1 x Outfield and 1 x Goalkeeper   (Uner 12s players should be born in 1998, 1999 may also be accepted)

U13s 1 x Goalkeeper  (Uner 13s players should be born in 1997, 1998 may also be accepted)

Balcatta SC has without question one of the best Development Plans in Western Australia for their junior players and strives to get every individual to reach their full potential.

The club itself has great pathways for the players who play at the club with semi-professional State League Premier status, involving U18, U23 and 1st Team. We also, as a club, have a proud history of having some players that have played and been developed as juniors at the club play for Australia and also play in the English Premier League. 

The players concerned should be above average in development for their age, passionate about the game and determined to succeed.  The successful players may also qualify for Balcatta Soccer Club’s own HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTRE (HPC) training program, that is in addition to the players normal squad training, and is run by 2 of the finest development coaches in the state. We have been running our HPC for more than 6 years and it has been offered free of charge to those fortunate enough to be picked for it.  Goalkeepers will receive weekly personalised training from Paul Turvill one of Western Australias leading Junior Keeper Coaches.

BALCATTA SOCCER CLUB ALLIANCE CUP 2010

Balcatta Soccer Club is seeking open expressions of interest for 2010 U12 teams that would like to be involved in this year’s edition of the Alliance Cup.

The 12 clubs involved last year have already been personally emailed for their interest in being involved again. If you belong to one of these clubs and someone from the 2010 U12 team hasn’t received anything from me today (22 Jan), then please email me.

The carnival will take place on the weekend of 13 & 14 March (these dates are to be confirmed once we have confirmation that the council will have the goals setup by then). These dates have been picked due to the restrictions on us by the fixture layout this year.

Balcatta Soccer Club Registration Days

Balcatta SC would like to announce that we will be having our Junior Registration Days on:

Sunday 14 February (9am – 12noon).
Sunday 21 February (9am – 12noon).

Age groups are from:

Squirts (3-5yr olds) Coached by UEFA qualified coaches.
U6-7 FFA SSG
U8-10 Rooball
U11-16 Full pitch teams.

Registration will be at the Balcatta Soccer Club, situated at Graham Burkett Reserve, Grindleford Drive Balcatta.

Please bring your childs original birth certificate or passport. Also, please bring your child/children on the day as they will be sized for their apparel and a digital photo will be taken of them on the day for registration purposes.
