Balcatta Soccer Club – Registration Details

Balcatta Soccer Club Registration days  for the 2012 season will be held on Sunday 29^th January and Sunday 5^th February from 9am – 12noon at the clubrooms on Grindleford Drive (North), Balcatta.

Assorted teams and training is available from Under 3 years old (Soccer Squirts) right through to U18 Sunday Premier.

All players are welcome to attend.

STATE LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION LEAGUE WINNERS 2011.

Expressions of interest are sort for Junior Coaches to join our popular and progressive club.

You will be under the guidance of Paul Wozny (Burnley FC Head of Youth (Australasia)) who is the Director of Coaching at Balcatta. Paul considers the development of coaches as important as the development of players and has 4 UEFA B qualified Development Coaches in the program to help all of the coaches implement the best Development System in WA (IMO). Along with this group there is a Coach Coordinator who helps with any issues the coaches may have.

Balcatta SC promotes the accreditation of coaches to national guidelines and will support your football coaching career as far as you would like to take it. There are also opportunities for the right people to progress into the Balcatta HPC and further which is linked to Burnley FC.

All coaching positions at Balcatta are paid positions, whether it be a token guesture (U6-U11) or something more with U12-U16.

Interest is required for both Development Squads from U6s through to U16s Boys/Mixed and Girls 1st Teams (Under the guidance of Lisa Tana).

SQUIRTS SOCCER (3-5yr olds)

The Balcatta Soccer Club Squirts Program resumes again this Saturday 17 September for another 10 week block.

The Squirts Program is specially set up for kids who are 3yrs to 5yrs old who may want to play soccer/football. The program lets the kids gain ball recognition while having a lot of fun.

The coach of the program is Ashley Rosindale who holds a UEFA B Licence and has a special ability when it comes to coaching very young kids.

Cost: $120 (per 10 week Block)
Where: Grindleford Reserve, Grindleford Drive (north), Balcatta
When: Saturday mornings.
Length: 45 minutes

Burnley FC Come Down Under

Burnley FC Strike It Awards is soon to be launched throughout Western Australia. This innovative program will be part of the High Performance Centre(HPC) operating at  Balcatta Soccer Club, Eastern Hills (Perth Hills United)  and Southern Districts (Fremantle Spirit) as well as in WA’s South West and Great Southern.  Full details will be available soon and will commence mid August (Term 3, block of 7 sessions).

The Strike It Award scheme is a creative skill based football development program aimed at young players from five to 13 years old wanting to improve their overall technical skills in a fun, challenging and progressive learning environment.

 

The Strike It program allows each player to develop through a range of levels at their own pace, while providing a development pathway into Advanced Programs for the most talented performers.

As part of the search for talent, Burnley FC will now have a complete player pathway  open to all players aged from 4 to 17 years.  All footballers are welcome and do not need to be registered as a player at any of the hosting clubs.

The HPC run by Paul Wozny – Head of Youth Burnley FC (Australasia) delivers a number of programs split into two pathways,  Community and  Advanced pathways.

Plans are in place to establish a central training centre in Perth to mirror the Centre of Excellence set up at Turf Moor which will be the  elite program.  Burnley FC School of Excellence(WA) will  run out of season from late September to March.  The very best talent will get an opportunity to go back to the UK to benchmark themselves while experiencing the professional game. 

Jeff Taylor – Head of recruitment for Burnley Football Club says “our connections have been limited in Australia over recent years with only two players, both from Western Australia, joining the youth squad, Ryan Townsend and Aryn Williams. The latter is currently at the club as a member of our Youth team.  However, since Paul joined our ranks we are looking to expand our Australian intake”.  There is now a realistic pathway  through to the Youth Team at Burnley FC for the very best talent.

Balcatta Soccer Club Squirts Program

Balcatta Soccer Club would like to announce that the 2nd Block of their Squirts program will start on Saturday 11 June.

The Squirts program is run by UEFA qualified coaches for players 3yrs to U/5′s.

The sessions are for 45 mins each Saturday morning for the duration of 10 weeks.

The cost of each 10 week block is $120.
